This tattoo of an alien opening up a corset and looking to come out is really well done. While it's creepy, it's still powerful and sends a few chills down the spine.

The way the corset is being opened, the loosening of the strings closest to the demon's hands and tightening as they are farther up on the back are very realistic and convincing.

I bet quite a few kids looking at this tattoo received a scare or two.

While the artwork is great, where do you go in a social situation and show it? Most places people wouldn't appreciate it too much. Anyway, it's a good tattoo even though the theme is somewhat limiting.

This corset piercing on this guys' neck is a little too much for me. While I know these are usually done for the sake of a photo and then the ribbons or cords are removed, but even so, having something like that on my throat would be very uncomfortable. Talk about a tickle on your throat.

Another thing I don't like is doing the ear stretching thing. The corset piercing, while uncomfortable, in general, once removed, is pretty much gone, maybe other than small and hard to notice little marks. With the ear stretching though, that's one that will really cause permanent body modification, and the ear is right there to see at all times.

Someone doing this must be making a lifelong commitment to wearing it in their ear, as the ear would look horrible just dangling from the stretching.

This type of piercing is just a little much for me.

It's hard to imagine a woman of her obvious beauty having to do anything like this to draw attention to herself. But there it is.

Do you wake up one day and ask yourself something like, "I think I'll go down and get corset-pierced on my back.

"Oh, and when I'm done there, I've got to go pick up groceries for dinner."

Definitely an extreme body modification trend.
